As a visual anthropologist, I have been interested in people: their zest for life, their passions and sufferings, their achievements and their environment. So much has changed with time, but the basics of all peoples and cultures have remained the same. My goal as a photographer is to capture both the underlying beauty and energy which permeates throughout all existence along with the serious issues that need to be resolved in order to preserve a healthy balance. Aesthetics of beauty anywhere is to be appreciated by all means, and my means is photography. I want to share the satisfaction which I receive through photography to all who see my work so that they appreciate the many beauties of our planet - my efforts might trigger some to preserve rather than destroy. |
